Robert Wendland
Mr. Wendland is an "AV" rated attorney. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 and a J.D. from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1983. After graduating from law school, he spent two years as a Senior Assistant City Attorney in Arlington, Texas, emphasizing land use and zoning matters, as well as litigation, before joining a large downtown Dallas law firm in 1985. Mr. Wendland practiced in downtown Dallas for seventeen years, and with a smaller firm in North Dallas for two years, before moving his practice to Allen in 2004. He has a diverse and broad practice which includes litigation in federal and state courts, as well as administrative proceedings and arbitration. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Wendland practices in the areas of school law and local government law, real estate, construction, land use and zoning, condemnation, banking, insurance law, utility cooperatives and special districts, and general commercial and business law.
