John Rapier
Mr. Rapier is a native of Lubbock, Texas and an 'AV' rated attorney. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 1969 and a J.D. from Texas Tech University in 1972. While in law school his honors included the Order of Barristers and Intercollegiate Moot Court Team. Mr. Rapier began his career as a prosecutor for Dallas County from 1972 to 1974. He founded his current law office in 1982 in Dallas and moved to Allen, Texas in 1989. Mr. Rapier served as an Associate Editor of Texas Appellate Practice Manual, published by the Texas Bar Foundation and author of Pre-Trial Motion Practice which was used in an advanced trial institute. Mr. Rapier limits his practice to real estate, banking, local government, water supply corporations and special utility districts, wills, trusts, and probate and guardianship matters. He has been married to the lovely Kathryn Rapier since 1972 and is the proud father of six children and four grandchildren.
